The role of a Film Market to the East African Film Industry

With the East African Film Industry faced with various challenges while showing signs of steady growth, there is need for a regional Film Market where Filmmakers convene for roundtable discussions/conferences, networking, workshops, pitching sessions, exhibitions, private screenings and deal-making while meeting and exchanging ideas with various agents, distributors, financiers, festival directors, writers, critics, Film commissioners, producers, attorneys and other stakeholders within the Film Industry.

The panel will unveil the idea, share their experience on existing markets as well as how best the East African region can achieve its own.
