How Amakula Film Festival Has Re-Invented The Drive In Cinema In Uganda

By Shadrine Taremwa

How many of you have got the chance to experience an outdoor cinema while seated comfortably in your car or with friends.

The Drive-in cinema is a form of cinema structure consisting of a large outdoor movie screen and a large parking area for cars in an enclosed area where people can view movies from the privacy and comfort of their cars or picnic mats.

Amakula Film Festival has re-invented the Drive-in cinema fever with the introduction of silent disco headsets replacing big speakers.

The night drive-in cinema starts at 7PM and it showcases feature films from all over the world but major focus is on Uganda movies.

To be a apart of the drive-in cinema experience pass by the Uganda Museum from Saturday 16 to Sunday 17 for just 10000/-
