Hidden Abilities – South Sudan

It’s a documentary film about Visually Impaired group in Juba South Sudan; directed by Elfatih Atem of Likikiri Collective. The group started forming an arts group, for songs, drama and poetry. In addition to that they do other many activities like playing balls, cards and fixing electronic. this film is to show the rights of people with disabilities particularly in South Sudan where the norms exclude them from any social practice, its a very interesting film to show the audience that people with disabilities are not unable to live their lives normally as any other human being

This film is documenting their indicatives to raise awareness about people with disabilities and the role that families, institutions, organizations and government can play to empower them to be considered as human that also can contribute to the well-being of the community at large.
